Name: Moonfire
Gender: She-cat
Age: 19 moons
Rank: Deputy
Clan: ThunderClan
Short description: A silver she-cat with black spots littering her pelt.
Long description:
Moonfire, as her name describes, looks like a cat whose fur shines in the moonlight like a fire. Her silver pelt is littered by countless black spots that grow wider down her legs. Her paws themselves and just a bit higher are more free of her spots but her tail ends up striped until it ends at a black tip. She has white fur ranging from her muzzle down to her under-belly. Her paws hold black fluff around her pink pads and darker pink nose. Moonfire's eyes are colored similar to that of a spring new-leaf.
Now for her actual body stats. Moonfire's body is nice and slim, abling for more of agility then strength. Her legs are long and strong from the thick muscle that envelops her entire body. She's also quite flexible and agile. Her eyes are rather large as are her triangular ears. Though thanks to her rather body body width, Moonfire is a bit lacking on the 'conquer all with body-size!' In fact her body itself is like on of those in-betweens; an in-between between small and medium. So that leaves her as an 'agility' type. Her tail is also nice and long, enabling some pretty decent balancing skills. Then there's her claws, ivory-colored little prickers that more of a medium length than anything. Though, even though she doesn't like to admit it; Moonfire's claws are a bit thinner than they should be.
Personality:
Like most warriors of the clans, Moonfire is loyal to her clan; her 'family'. She would defend them till the very last drop of her blood. With that its also safe to say that she's quite stern, unapproving of rash actions that could put the clan or her fellow clan-cats at risk. She is diligent and dutiful; making sure that her clan will survive as many of the hardships as they can. She will not tolerate poor leadership no matter who it may be from. Whether its her hunting leader, her actual leader, or even a leader from another clan. She cannot stand those who misguide their followers to their doom. But that doesn't mean she's all bite and claw, Moonfire will indeed try to help those who need it. Though that may turn out different against someone from outside her clan. She's not exactly the most socialist cat in the camp. In a way she can be related to solitary-kind of cat, perfering to stay away from those outside her clan.
Moonfire's responible enough to know that cooperation is indeed needed for most things so she will tolerate strangers, but to an extent. She'll treat others with repect and in turn, expect that same respect back. She's not much of a joker, seeing how she takes alot of things seriously most of the time. Its bad enough to where Moonfire can't even make a decent joke... (Poor girl...)
Thankfully the she-cat is at least kind to kits, queens, and apprentices. She'll treat her fellow warriors like siblings and the healer with her upmost repect. After all, its the healer who saves the injured and/or dying. As for the deputy, she'll treat that one the same as the warriors since the deputy is basically like a more experienced version of a warrior (or skillful than the average warrior). Now the leader she'll treat with almost the same respect as the healer. What different? Well Moonfire has no qualms with voicing opinions against something whether it be hunting, raiding, or whatever - strategy. She's a smart cat and knows a winning situation from a losing one. But Moonfire is no gambler, she won't risk lives on a risky bet.
History:
As a kit, Moon was born to a litter of three right before Greenleaf. Her parents Stormsong and Cloudclaw both were both proud parents. Especially Cloudclaw, her father. He always seemed to pay more attention to Moonkit because of their almost identical appearence. In fact he was kind of like over-doting fathers. Though that didn't seem to both her two brother who just so happen to be twins; Skykit and Foxkit. In fact they ended feeling protective of their 'baby' sister. She was, after-all the smallest in the litter and definitely not the strongest of them. The two would pick on her sometimes though always under watch of their patient mother. But whenever they went to far they would always apologize and try to make it up to her. They were good brothers but unfortunately they were the only ones who would play with 'poor, delicate' Moonkit. Well that didn't bother her since her brothers were kind enough to put her above their other kit friends. Sadly, green-cough had hit the kits hard at the time and both her brothers had ended up succumbing to the sickness; leaving little Moonkit all alone.
Over time, Moon along with some other kits had grown enough to be promoted to apprenticeship but unfortunately for her, it was a little later than the rest. The reason was because she was just too small at the time so they waited for her to get a big bigger. Two moons passed after her 'age-group' had been promoted when Moonkit had finally been named as Moonpaw. Her parents were both proud but her mother was still depressed over her sons deaths. Her father however didn't seem to dwell on it and rather focused all his attention on her now. Maybe it was his paranoia that made him keep his eye on her or maybe it was just that he didn't want her to feel lonely; she didn't know and really didn't care all that much but was happy to have support. As an apprentice, Moonpaw was assigned to a warrior named Sandpelt.
The she-cat was a tough teacher but she taught the apprentice everything she knew; including some neat tricks to catch her opponents off-guard with her speed. She loved her mentor but was sad to find out that she would be the warrior's last apprentice as she was finally reaching her last spurts of youth. So Moonpaw counted herself lucky that she gained such a wonderful mentor. That wasn't to last though; as their leader Thornstar died from a Shadowclan attack on the Abandoned Twoleg Place. During the attack Moonpaw had been with both her mentor and another warrior who had his apprentice as well. It was yet another apprentice who had come running to their patrol group to tell them of the attack. Moon could remember how hard the five of them ran toward the battlesight only to see the battlefield empty of most except for some of the dead. They had already taken the leader's body back to camp along with all the warriors who had died during the attack. It was only slightly later when she heard that both her parents had perished in the flight... Somehow she just couldn't feel anything after hearing that...
The sadness that filled them could've colored their pelts for how easily it showed when they got back. They had gotten back after a new warrior had been named but Moonpaw was just too tired to congratulate the promotion and instead went to rest in the apprentice's den. The other two however went to congratulate the new warrior along with the fellow patroler but even Sandpelt was about to fall over if she didn't rest so she had also left for the warrior's den.
It was only maybe two sun-rises later that Moonpaw's mentor had managed to survive being put in the elder's den but the new leader, Hawkstar decided it was time for the old warrior to rest. In return he would train her apprentice through the last few moons of her apprentice-ship. So that made Moonpaw Hawkstar's apprentice and like her former mentor; Hawkstar trained the apprentice hard. It wasn't a long after her gaining a new mentor that she had finally met her first battle against Shadowclan. This time Moonpaw was there alongside a few other warriors at that time. The battle was rather short but Moon could've swore she was standing in a pool of blood by the end. Thankfully no one died and there were very few who held dangerous injuries. She was not one of them, somehow taking out two of the opposing cats with her speed and her hard-trained skill by herself.
That was what made her leader and mentor promote her Moonfire, a warrior amongst the warriors. Just like all new warriors Moonfire sat her vigil on the night of the gathering. It was a little saddening that she couldn't go but she knew better then to shirk her work. After her night's vigil moonfire had worked alongside her fellow warriors with pride. To her suprise another event with Shadowclan occured as they tried once more to take the Abandoned Twoleg Place from Thunderclan once again and this time Moonfire was there alongside her fellow warriors and even the deputy. Thankfully she managed to get through the fight with little more than a few deep gashes but to her dismay the deputy had perished in the battle. It was only shortly after that Hawkstar had gained a new deputy. She could remeber the new deputy was a cat who had been apprenticed at around the same time as her so in a way she felt happy for him.
Moonfire thought peace was going to reign for if even just a little longer until her leader made the decision to attack Windclan on his very last life. Moonfire wanted to argue; thinking it irrational to attack Windclan when it was Shadowclan who was doing all the damage. Even so she went along with it and was one of the warriors who would fight alongside her leader and deputy with her fellow warriors. Her speed saved her so many times on the field as she was just fast enough to keep herself from being surrounded by Windclan cats. Moonfire still doesn't know she managed to get out of that battle with only a sliced open side being her worse injury. But somehow she knew that her leader was going to perish and indeed he did making Emberstorm the new clan leader. Even she could tell that he wasn't expecting their leader to die. So now Moonfire serves her new leader as a warrior of the clan.
