Emberstar dipped his head and mewed "Hello Finchstar. I know it looks odd me, the Thunderclan deputy you knew up here but, I will explain when the gathering starts." He turned Rainstar and mewed "If Windclan is this late concern should be adressed. However, due to their absense and the fact that the night won't last forever I think we should star without them."

"Agreed." Rainstar stood up. "Cats of the clans! Because Secretstar is not here, we shall start the gathering without her. ShadowClan is doing well this new-leaf. We have had plenty of prey and Fawnleg will be having her kits any day now! There have been traces of rogue in the territory, but nothing more." She nodded to Emberstar, it was his turn to tell.

Secretstar ran along as fast as her legs could carry her. Late. GREAT!! Secretstar burst out and jumped up with the Clan leader's. "I'm here." She panted. Her tail flicked back and forth. Her eyes scanned the cats below her, her eyes narrowing. You could tell she was deep in thought. Suddenly she looked at Rainstar, "I hope I'm not too late." She looked at the rest of the leader's standing before sitting down.

Emberstar mewed quietly to Secretstar "Trust me your not late." He scanned the clearing for Moondapple and Moonfire. He couldn't see Moondapple. He thought "Where in Starclan's name did Moondapple wonder off to?' He sat silently wondering if the other leaders were wondering why he, the Thunderclan deputy last moon, was standing up here. In the middle of the clearing. 'They probally thought Hawkstar is sick.' he thought. Emberstar waited knowing it was right for Secretstar to go before him since that was the order. He nodded at Secretstar and hoped the Windclan leader got the message.

Secretstar smiled at Ember(storm?), glad he let her go first. She started with a simple, "WindClan is very well, the prey-pile had been very well-stocked." Her teal-like eyes scanned the Cats below. She took a breath before continuing. "WindClan has a new Deputy, Russetstrom." She waited a moment before meowing, "And new Medicine Cat Graymask." She looked thoughtful as she said the last part. Secretstar was done but she didn't take a step back, instead she turned her attention to the ThunderClan deputy. "I was wondering why your up here. Where's Hawkstar?" She asked, her gaze curious.
(Might as well ask, you posted it in your last post. [Just to get it out of the way])

Emberstar shook his red and brown fur and yowled "I know that many of you are wondering why I, the Thunderclan deputy whom was Emberstorm last moon is up here? Well, Hawkstar died in a recent rogue attack easily making me the youngest leader here!" He paused briefly and blink and continued "Thunderclan despite this loss is as strong as ever! We have a new deputy, Moonfire! We are blessed with tons of prey but, other clan seem to be taking advantage of it as well." He stopped and narrowed his green eyes into snake like slit and snarled "I couldn't tell if it was Riverclan or rogues but, we have smelled some odd scents on our territory!" He had smelled sevberal scents on Thunderclan territory and one definately smelled like Riverclan. (I wanted to but, I though it would be better for the shock effect of my announcements.)

Mintfrost's mouth dropped open at the accusation, but she said nothing. How dare they! She hissed in her mind. Her blue eyes narrowed, though she kept her tongue behind her teeth. What about the ThunderClan scent we found in our territory? She hoped Finchstar mentioned something about it.
Rainstar was only slightly startled by the accusation. It was bold, she admired that quality in him, but Rainstar was surprised that he had said something so bold that it could start trouble so early in his leadership. But there had been some strange scents in her territory as well. Some indefinable and some WindClan. She had forgot about that until that moment. "I also have had some strange scents in ShadowClan,some are indefinable and the others smell vaguely like WindClan." She said, trying to stay in her nonchalant manner.
Brakenfang supported his leader, but that statement could put them in a world of trouble. Brakenfang didn't know it, but it would. He was surprised about Rainstar's statement also. Was it the truth or was she just bored and ready to use her claws.
Shinefire gasped and looked over at Tigershade. She wanted to feel angry at him for what his leader said, but couldn't bring herself to. She felt angry at Rainstar but said nothing. Several other WindClanners around her shouted angry protests. Several ShadowClanners hissed at them.

Emberstar mewed "I'm not directly accusing Riverclan or any other clan but, the point is there have been some strange scents on nearly all of our borders." He turned to the leaders and narrowed his eyes. He mewed quietly "Do you agree with the fact there were some odd scents." He sat down again and blinked shamefuly at his desicion.

Moonfire wanted to slap her head and groan but unfortuantely paws weren't exactly the best things for slapping herself in the head with. What was her leader doing? Certainly not trying to make enemies so early in his leadership. Well, there had indeed been strange scents on their borders. Accusations started getting thrown around and somehow the deputy somehow got mixed up in it all, arguments between her and some random RiverClan member. Well at least she managed to break off before there was more yelling. She looked up to her leader, at least he was trying to fix it.
Graymask had ran with his leader as his clan arrived late. So soon after their arrival the clans began their meeting. So thats how late they were eh? Well the sooner it was over the sooner things would be settled. At least thats what he thought until the ShadowClan leader accused some from his clan were on their territory. That was preposterous. At least he thought it was. Either which way, he managed to drift away from the verbal fights and evil glares.

Secretstar looked at Emberstar, her eyes trying to meet his. Secretstar looked out, her mind spinning with count-less thoughts. Finally Secretstar's gaze landed on Greymask and even though her Clan just got there, she wanted to leave. Her mind still spinning, she turned and said boldly, "I have also smelled some RiverClan." Her eyes had a brave look in them. "I didn't mention it before because I wanted to wait and see if it happened again. I didn't want to cause a big scene yet, but I might as well." She had fire in her eyes as she looked at Finchstar.

Emberstar yowled "Look I'm sorry for starting this! Please my fellow clan cats, we must stop this recuss at once!" He turned to Secretstar and smiled. He thought 'All those moons we spent together and now we both are up here.' He felt foolish because of what he started but, his life from Thornstar was for honesty and he refused to waste the lives and the traits given to him. He just needed to know how to use better judgement.

Finchstar noticed Secretstar. He gave her a long glare. Finchstar was so close to attacking her.
He looked at Secretstar. He got out his claws and took position to pounce. Then, Finchstar noticed Emberstar. He put his claws away and closed his eyes for a little bit. Finchstar sat up and glanced over Emberstar again. "Please fix this....I almost lost my temper because of Secretstar. She is walking on real thin ice right now." Finchstar whispered to Emberstar. He looked over to Secretstar and glared at her again.

Emberstar wispered back to Finchstar "Will do. I don't want any conflict among the clans." He looked up and yowled angrily, with his tail thrashing "Look I, Emberstar appoligize for this uproar. We must resume the gathering! This behavior must stop fore, we are acting like abunch of squabbling kits!" He nodded at Finchstar so he could speak and the gathering could end. He stared calmly at each of the leaders. First, Rainstar, then Secretstar and then he ended his gaze on Finchstar.

Secretstar glared back at Finchstar, "It's not my fault you're Clan is full of sneaky Fish-faces!" Her eyes were cold. Her claws sliding out, but her fur stayed flat. She wasn't going to try to fix things, they should be the ones trying to fix things! Her tail tip flicked back and forth.
Moondapple looked back and forth between the leader's. She looked up at the sky and spoke up, "StarClan won't appreciate this!" She yowled at the leader's. Moondapple looked at her own leader, Emberstar. He was trying to fix things... But from the looks of Secretstar, it wasn't helping.

Emberstar was becoming impatient. He hissed annoyed, "Can we finish this gathering before I either lose a life of old age or hedgehogs fly?" He nodded at Finchstar to go. He just wanted this to end so he can prepare for an attack at dawn. 'Thats when those foxhearts will strike I bet.' he thought. He scanned the clearing wondering which clan or clans he may have to fight next.
