Esther Eye sharp, ears forward, the smooth she-cat wove her silver pelt around the tall grass stalks, green eyes gleaming in intrest. She had now joined Nightshade, maybe a place she would like? It seemed...fine. She would have to test her loyalty, but this was surely the place for a monster? Esther's thck pelt was smooth, as she groomed it all the time, always trying to make it perfect. Under the thick fur, she had a long, skinny body, as she was underfed. Luck is not on my side.. she thought smugly. Long tail carried high behind her, she carried herself with dignity, knowing she would need to prove herself here.

Thicket~
Thicket padded in and thought "Now, all I need is to exact my avenge on the clans and leave this dump. Maybe I can add afew extra pelts to my collect.' He noticed Esther and mewed sharply "You are the new cat aren't you? I am Thicket and enjoy yourself here I guess." He sat down and norrowed his eyes waiting to see Esther's next move.

Esther narrowed her eyes at the tom, her nerves heating angrily. She was known for her uncontrollable temper. In her birthland, that is. She gave a sweet smile and mewed, "Thank you for your...warm welcome." Some of the words were spat annoyingly at him, and her claws were flexing the ground. "And I ask you, don't treat me as if I am dirt." she meowed, a snarl hinted in her voice.

Thicket~ Thicket held back a snarled and said tortly "If you were dirt you would be in the twoleg garden not on top of it. His ear twitched and he added in a nicer tone "Hear anything new around here lately?" He scanned the bushes and undergrowth hoping Esther wouldn't claw his throat out. He knew one thing though. He need to go hunt soon.

Esther settled, sitting comfortably. "No, come to think of it. There is only the plans for Nightshade, but you should know those already." she mewed curtly. She curled her long tail neatly around her small paws. Esther examined him carefully. He had an exceptionally strong build, thick brown pelt, amber eyes. Quite a plain appearance. But easy to remember.

Thicket replied "I do but, I was refering to rumors and the usual riff raff that cats have." He thought 'Esther may be some what soft but still, she is someone I would be honored to fight even if she beats me.' Thicket asked "How did you come to be here?"

Esther gave Thicket a simple look. "My father murdered my mother, then gave me my training." Esther regretted her past, and didn't talk about it often. Yet, there was something about Thicket she felt that was able to be trusted. He wasn't the fighter she thought he was and didn't mind her retorts. Different, in a way.

Thicket~
Thicket spat "Traitors must die! What was your father's fate? If you didn't kill him, I would be happy to add his pelt to my collection." He felt this aura coming from Esther. It was almost a mix of calm, betral, anger, and several other emotions in one ball just waiting to implode. This thought worried him.

"I killed him, in honour of my mother. His name was Jack. I suppose you have heard of him?" she asked, flexing her claws. His memory made her angry, killing Sylvia, who was so innocent, and just trying to put the same innocence in her daughter.

Thicket mewed flatly "No I haven't honestly. I probally know more about those accursed clan than my own people!" He hated the clans to the point that he stalked lone warriors and hunted them down. This, is a small part of his lust for blood and death.

Esther lowered her gaze to her paws. "The clan cats are oblivious of our power. My mother's sister joined a clan and she has children there, so my kin are clan-born." The long-haired cat arched her back in a long stretch. "Well, since we aren't doing anything useful, would you like to share a meal with me? Someone added a juicy-looking rabbit to the pile, the largest one I've seen all season."

Thicket mewed this time quieting down abit, "I didn't mean to offend you but, the clans and twolegs killed my whole family." He flexed his claws evily and added "I'll h ave SOME of the rabbit not all of it." He knew he seemed slightly crazy and Thicket knew he was. He was quite proud of it and his pelts oh how he loved the collection and he clawed the name of the cat above the pelt which would hang by a random nail as the twolegs called them.

Esther nodded, following his words. She was aware of Thicket's 'hobby' of murdering. She was unsure of her thoughts about it, but didn't feel interested enough to complain. He could do what he wished, as long as it didn't effect her. The long-haired she cat sliced a piece of the rabbit with one claw and tossed it to Thicket. "Here. The prey will not be like this all season." she meowed, taking a large bite of the rest of her prey. The rabbit's succulent taste dissolved on her tongue, making her purr. Facing Thicket, her eyes narrowed, she asked, "Why have you chosen the life you lead? What interests you in doing the things you do?" [Sorry for inactivity...]

Thicket quickly gulped up the fresh kill and mewed "Well I resent the clans whom drove me to start my collection. I want revenge because they killed my father, Adderstripe, out of the clans." He curled his lip and snarled "Their somewhat honorable Warrior Code is corrupt, and weak. It won't allow a cat to kill another cat and the Starclan rubbish ha!" He thought the clans were a joke, not a group of cats. He knew that most cats thought he was.. different for his action but, the six pelts were all the respect he had.
(Its ok)
